Among the highlights, Wildland received three nominations for Independent Lens, including Outstanding Nature Documentary. The film covers the personal story a crew of firefighters sent to battle nature's most dangerous force.
In The Facebook Dilemma, FRONTLINE explored the controversial company and discovered multiple warnings about the platform’s negative impact on privacy and democracy were eclipsed by Facebook’s relentless pursuit of growth. The film received two nominations.
And a tip of the cap to Rocky Mountain PBS in Colorado, which received a regional nomination for Insight with John Ferrugia.
